Organizational Profile
Neve Yosef Community Center was established in 1987. The center was established as a nonprofit organization with the collaboration and support of the Jewish Agency for Israel subsidiary (by the education fund), UJA Federation of Northern New Jersey (the Bergen County community), the Israel Association of community centers and Haifa municipality.
The community center is as a nonprofit organization which strives to empower and develop the community it serves, via providing equal opportunity for all and promoting the value of human dignity.
The community center serves as a campus situated between two structures in a total space of 5,000 square meter with a spread of tens activity centers and extension scattered all over the city of Haifa
The community center is a professional and multi disciplinary organization, initiates diverse contents and activities of a high quality, to match the standards of the third millennium.
The community center's fields of activity are broad, diverse and strict to the professional level required.
The community center has a long term experience in operating an array of educational activities, enrichment, culture, society, community and leisure to match all ages and population cuts.
Target audience
The Community Center has developed expertise and tools to work with diverse publics and populations: multi-cultural, multi-ages and populations from different socio economical classes.
The destination public is characterized in special socio economical structure which deals with significant and one of the most complicated social challenges existent in the Israeli society.
The Community Center deals with the challenge of providing services to the diverse population consisted out of new immigrants from East Europe, North Africa and the Arab Countries, Former Soviet Union and Ethiopia, the Arabic population of Halisa's neighborhood, underprivileged population, the middle class, diverse age cut: from the early childhood to the senior citizenship .

The community center sees him self as a social change agent and as an emissary for the community execution, prompting it's quality of life, security and necessities.
Accomplishing our vision requires cooperation with partners that will help us promoting those goals and develop a multi cultural and tolerant society based on the Jewish heritage.
The Community Center develops array of diverse connections and partnerships with governmental and municipal organizations, non-profit organization, business and private companies in order to help the center promote the community it serves.
